We use cookies to improve the efficiency of the ddoctor.eu online store (hereinafter referred to as the "Online Store") and to offer increasingly sophisticated functionalities and content that is better suited to the user. In order to ensure the transparency of our actions, we have adopted this Cookie Policy, which sets out the detailed rules for the use of cookies and similar technologies by the Online Store.

Data collected through cookies and other similar technologies are collected by Doctors Home Poland Sp. z o. o., NIP: 7011178656, REGON: 527145733.

A "User" is any individual whose data is processed and who uses our Online Store and other related websites, communications and services (hereinafter referred to as "User").

I. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies are pieces of code that are text files that respond to HTTP requests sent to our server. These files are stored by each browser from which the User visits our online store. The information contained in the cookies allows us to understand how users interact with our Online Store.

The Online Store uses two types of cookies

  • Session cookies - These are temporary files that remain on the user's device until they leave the Online Store or close their browser. In this case, the information stored in session cookies is automatically deleted.

  • Persistent cookies - These are files that remain on the user's device for a specified period of time, even after the user leaves the Online Store, or until they are manually deleted.

The Online Store also uses other available technologies that allow information to be stored in the browser in appropriate data stores (session storage, local storage) and embeds code snippets from third party analytics tools that allow cookies to be stored in the domains of those services. The current list of our trusted partners whose services we use or whose technologies we implement in the online store is available here.

Cookies and other similar technologies are used to provide an optimal service for the user's visit to the Online Store and to provide faster and easier access to information. The information stored or accessed does not make any changes to the user's device or the software installed on it.

Information contained in cookies and other similar technologies is considered personal information only when it is linked to other personal information available about a particular User. We only collect anonymous information about the User through cookies and other similar technologies in order to improve the convenience of using the Online Store and to minimise the intrusiveness of advertising. We do not collect any information that would allow the User to be identified.

II. PURPOSES OF THE USE OF COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and other similar technologies to recognise you during your visits to our online store, to remember your preferences and to display relevant, personalised content, including tailored advertising. These solutions make the user's interaction with us faster and more efficient. In addition, these technologies allow us to present customised content to the User without the need for surveys.

The following categories describe how cookies and similar technologies are used in our online store:

  • Authentication: We use cookies to authenticate the User, i.e. to recognise the User in our Online Store. These cookies allow the User to navigate between pages without having to re-register on each page. When the User is recognised, relevant information is presented according to the User's preferences.

  • Analysis and statistics: We use cookies and other technologies to analyse traffic within the Online Store. We conduct analytical and statistical activities in order to continually improve the products and services offered, provide better solutions, and add new features and capabilities.

  • Preferences and Settings: We use cookies to remember the settings and configurations of the pages within our Online Store and its individual elements, including page views and the user's preferred language.

  • Advertising: We use cookies and similar technologies to deliver both general and tailored (profiled) advertising to the User, including for remarketing purposes.

III. DISABLING THE USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

By default, web browsers allow the storage of cookies. If the User does not wish to receive cookies, the User may change the settings of the browser on the computer or other device used to access our Online Store. Continued use of our Online Store without changing the settings means that the User agrees to receive all cookies in our Online Store.

Most web browsers have a feature that allows users to view and delete cookies, including cookies from our Online Store. However, it is important to note that the inability to store or read cookies from our Online Store website may prevent the User from fully and correctly using the website.

If the User uses different devices to access and browse our Online Store (e.g. computer, smartphone, tablet), the User should ensure that each browser on each device is set according to the User's preferences regarding cookies.
